About me
I earned my bachelor's degree with a Psychology major and a Data Science minor from the METU Northern Cyprus Campus in 2023. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in Developmental Psychology at the METU MLCD Lab, where I also completed my M.Sc in 2026. My doctoral research is a joint Ph.D. agreement between METU and the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics (MPI-NL), under the supervision of Dr. Dilay Karadöller and Prof. Dr. Aslı Özyürek. My PhD is supported by the ongoing TİD-LEX project. I work on the age of acquisition effects on deaf and hard-of-hearing children with respect to word learning, narrative development, and emotion expression.
