As the Multimodal Language and Cognitive Development Lab, we hosted Dr. Himmet Sarıtaş on September 25 with his presentation titled "Who Are Gestures For? Exploring the Communicative and Cognitive Functions of Gestures in L2 Speech". Our esteemed speaker shared his research exploring how gestures support both communicative and cognitive processes in second language speech.
